THE ROLE

Our warehouse operatives/drivers have a hands-on role which covers all areas of the operation from general housekeeping to order picking, packaging, delivery and stock management.

  • Working as part of a small team of warehouse operatives to cover goods-in, order picking, packaging, and delivery.
  • Attend to any customers visiting the premises to collect/return stock.
  • Maintain good levels of housekeeping and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Any other duties as requested by line manager.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Good planning and organising skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Willing to put in the hard graft to ensure objective and outputs are met.
  • Driving license essential.

THE ROLE

The Sales Consultant is the first point of contact in our depot. They assist our customers by providing excellent customer service whilst selling the depot’s extensive range of products with the objective of achieving and exceeding personal and depot sales and growth targets.

  • Understand customer requirements and then convert them into inspirational designs that customers want to buy.
  • To generate sales in line with depot targets.
  • Correctly process sales/estimates, pricing, delivery dates and stock requirements for your customer.
  • Book customer appointments for home measure visits.
  • Conduct home measure visits in customers’ homes and accurately measure and capture key design elements within a planner sheet.
  • Provide effective customer account management, aiming to increase the depot customer base and develop collaborative relationships with the trade and public.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service and support the wider sales time in generating and chasing leads to ensure all potential sales are captured.
  • Maintain up to date product and industry knowledge.
  • Any other duties as requested by line manager.
